Happy Hour for LLS

Head to the pavilion at Jack’s Slice at the Allentown Municipal Golf Course on Thursday, September 30 for happy hour from 5:30–7:30 p.m. The event will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. For a $10 donation, guests can enjoy complimentary appetizers and drink specials. There will also be a DJ on site as well as raffle items. Tickets are available here and at the door.

Party with a Purpose

The Junior League of the Lehigh Valley will host a fun, philanthropic, delicious night out on Friday, October 1 from 7–9 p.m. at Shepherd Hill Golf Club. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and a silent auction. Friends, family and community members are welcome, and proceeds from the event will support their mission of developing civic leadership skills in Lehigh Valley women.

Fall Wine Festival at the Zoo

This Saturday, October 2, the Lehigh Valley Zoo’s annual Fall Wine Festival returns. Local wineries and artisanal vendors will be on-site for sampling of wines, ciders and meads. Festival tickets are included in regular admission. The fun runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

LVBG Beer Fest

The Lehigh Valley Brewers Guild will host its annual beer festival this Saturday, October 2 from noon to 4 p.m. at Emmaus Community Park. The festival will showcase the area’s breweries, cideries and meaderies, and will feature food trucks on site as well as live music. Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 day of.

Sorrenti’s Fall Festival

Head to Sorrenti Family Estate Winery, Distillery & Pizzeria on Saturday, October 2 for their Fall Festival and enjoy live music, art and food vendors on site, fall drinks and a raffle! Tickets to the live concert by Outcrops cost $5 and will reserve you a seat in the pavilion in front of the music. The rest of the festival is free to attend and runs from noon to 6 p.m.

This Saturday, October 2, Warner Art Glass Center will host Pumpkin Palooza from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event promises glassblowing demonstrations, big discounts, prizes, snacks and music by Hannah Noel.
