Quakertown Movie in the Park
Head to Univest Performance Center to enjoy a free showing of Disney’s Onward, this Friday. The movie begins at sunset, with pre-show activities starting at 7 p.m. The Tot Rod and Rita’s Italian Ice will be on site serving snacks. Bring your own chairs and blankets!
Blues, Brews & Barbecue Festival
This Saturday, celebrate the 13th annual Blues, Brews & Barbecue Festival! Check out 17 national and local blues’ acts across five different stages, and enjoy some great food and drinks, family-friendly activities and more. The fun is free to attend and runs from noon to 10 p.m. in Downtown Allentown.
Duchess Cookies Grand Opening
Celebrate the debut of Easton’s newest bakery, Duchess Cookies, this Saturday. New York-based and “home of the designer cookie,” Duchess Cookies serves hot, freshly baked cookies daily! The ribbon cutting will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday at 247 Northampton Street in Easton. The first 100 customers will receive a free cookie with any purchase. Free to attend, registration is encouraged.
Outdoor Concert Series at Bear Creek
Bear Creek Mountain Resort’s concert series is back, with Good Lovin’ Jamband performing this Sunday from 6–9 p.m. This outdoor event is free to the public!
National Girlfriends Day at Setter Ridge
Celebrate National Girlfriends Day at Setter Ridge Winery in Kutztown and enjoy a complimentary chocolate and wine pairing (while supplies last). The fun runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Sunday, with live music from 1–4 p.m.
Grand Carnivale at Dorney Park
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom’s Grand Carnivale continues through August 8 with a larger-than-life cultural celebration. The fun begins at 3 p.m. and each night, the Spectacle of Color Parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m., with extravagant floats, street performers and sounds. Access to the event is included with park admission.
