Easton Tree City Celebration

This Friday, celebrate Easton for being a Tree City! Starting at 5:30 p.m., hear a reading of the Tree City Proclamation. Then enjoy a guided walk by City of Easton Forester Rob Christopher, exploring the trees along the Karl Stirner Arts Trail. This event is part of outreach for the CREATE Resilience project led by the Nurture Nature Center.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Sterner’s Stems is returning to Jay’s Local this Saturday. Stop by the pop-up shop between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and browse locally grown, fresh-cut flowers, plants and succulents hand-picked by owner Melissa Sterner.

DIY Paw Print Flower Pots at Kospia Farms

Cold Nose Lodge and Kospia Farms have partnered together to present “My Kids Have Paws.” For just $10, participants can have their fur-baby place their paw print onto a flower pot, along with their name and a flower! Stop by this Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. All proceeds from this event will be donated to a local shelter.

She Nailed It! Competition

Habitat for Humanity is hosting She Nailed It!, an all-women, nail-hammering, relay competition. This year’s event will be outside as part of a fun tailgate! The competition runs from 4–7 p.m. on Monday. One of Habitat for Humanity’s signature fundraising events, She Nailed It! invites women to take a day to build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
