The Proposal
Bethlehem-born Sarah Callahan and Nashville native Samuel Bellet met in Dallas, Texas, on their first jobs out of college in the tech/consulting field. In July of 2022, Sam brought them back to Dallas for a bachelorette party for friends—really a ploy to disguise his champagne- and chocolate-laden gondola proposal!
The Big Day
Their ceremony was officiated by Sam’s hometown priest from Nashville, and a friend played the massive 22-person wedding party out on the bagpipes, a nod to Sarah’s Irish roots. The best man flipped the maid of honor on the way into the reception, dad’s speech was over 20 minutes long and the rest of the night was no less extraordinary. From Sarah’s nonna leading the boisterous dance floor in the tarantella to Sam’s two-year-old niece twirling with her mother, it was an event for the ages to set Sam and Sarah up for their honeymoon with a sparkler send-off.
