This past April, more than 400 furry friends entered our annual pet contest, and Style readers cast votes for their favorites. To us, all entries were winners, but these 10 received the most love!
For every entry into the pet contest, Faulkner Subaru Bethlehem donated $1 to The Animal Food Bank. For the duration of the contest, food donations were also accepted for The Animal Food Bank at Faulkner Subaru Bethlehem.
Breed: English Bulldog | Age: 2 | Gender: Male | @acethebulldog1503
“Loves playing with shoes and is very loving and affectionate—but stubborn during walks.”
– Chandan Chadha
Breed: Pit Bull Great Dane Mix | Age: 7 1/2 | Gender: Male
He was adopted by our youngest daughter. He came to live with us four years ago after his mom suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and he has been here ever since. Mommy gets to still see him and spend time with him though.

Breed: Boston Terrier | Age: 15 | Gender: Female
Lucy came into my life in 2006 when she was eight weeks old. Within a day of bringing her home, she became very ill and it turned out to be severe pneumonia. We fought for six months to get her strong and healthy. Even after a five-month battle with glaucoma that began just after her fourteenth birthday, and ultimately losing her vision and then eyes in August of 2020, she is still so healthy and happy. She is my heart and has taught me everything about unconditional love over the past 15 years!

Age: 1 | Gender: Female
Minnie is a “funny” cat and loves chasing her toy mouse. We lost our last cat, Gus, this past November and we wanted a kitten.
– Nicholas Santee
Breed: Australian Shepherd | Age: 2 | Gender: Male | @quilo.be.thee.aussie
Quilo loves playing fetch and agility class. He has an oversized, comical personality. He loves Owowcow House Vanilla ice cream.
– Carolynn Velas
Breed: Siamese-Lilac Point | Age: 5 | Gender: Female
Pumpkin loves hunting for bugs and mice, playing fetch and scratching on the carpet and furniture. I always had a Siamese cat growing up and they are the best cats that have dog-like traits, in my opinion.
– Donna Lawson
Age: 1 | Gender: Male | @LionellCat
Lionell knows exactly how cute he is and uses it to his advantage. He loves riding around Downtown Bethlehem in his spaceship backpack and exploring the Moravian Courtyard on his leash! We adopted Lionell from Peaceable Kingdom. We went to the kitten adoption event and Lionell fell asleep in Dave’s arms. We put a deposit down for him immediately.

Breed: Mini Goldendoodle | Age: 3 months | Gender: Male
I adopted Dexter from a reputable breeder. He is super smart and has beautiful long eyelashes. It has always been my dream to own a Mini Goldendoodle. Also, my seven-year-old dog, Bentley, needed a young and energetic playmate/brother in his life, as his brother, Cody, is 16 years old, so he is no longer able to play.

Breed: German Shepherd | Age: 3 | Gender: Male | @rescuedruger
We had an appointment to meet the most perfect dog, but when we arrived, we were told that “the perfect dog” was rehomed earlier that day. Instead, they showed us Grant—the nine-month-old stray from Philly. Grant looked rough, almost rabid if you will. It was a hard no from me, but somehow, Brad knew he was “the one.” When Ruger visited family, they had their own names in mind for him (“Cujo” and “Wolf Dog”), but sure enough he won the hearts of everyone. If you ever choose to rescue, don’t sleep on the pet everyone is walking past—I promise you that he/she is a diamond in the rough and with love and patience, that diamond will shine on.
– Faith Blanchard & Brad Stanko
Breed: American Eskimo Mix | Age: 3 | Gender: Male
We adopted him from someone who was fostering animals! He loves hiking, cuddling and barking.
