This Father’s Day, the Lehigh Valley is celebrating with barbecues, gourmet meals, beer tastings and activities for kids. Add any one of these specialty experiences to your weekend plans and make sure dad feels all the love.

On Sunday, Weyerbacher Brewing Company will serve a special Father’s Day menu featuring French dip, bratwurst, smoked wings, smoked chicken and barbecue sides. There will also be yard games and more than 20 beers on tap. Kids and dogs are welcome! Music by Dom Palombi Project begins at noon and trivia runs from 2–4 p.m.
Savory Grille is serving up a Father’s Day dinner to go. This gourmet meal for two features a curried coconut shrimp bisque, Asian Caesar salad, grass-fed veal prime rib and vanilla pot au crème. It also includes a six-pack of SweetWater 420 EPA. Place your order by Saturday, June 19 at 3 p.m. and enjoy a scheduled pick-up between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Head to the Lehigh Valley Zoo for their Hops for Pops Father’s Day Beer Sampling event this Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Guests ages 21 and over are invited to sample 20 different varieties of beer.
Treat dad to his favorite combo: beer and meats! The Father’s Day barbecue at Tolino Vineyards kicks off at noon on Sunday and promises beer flights, food by Little Creek BBQ and live music by Deja Vudu Band from 2–5 p.m. Outdoor seating is first come first served, but feel free to bring your own chair.
For the Kids
Bring the little ones to Weyerbacher Brewing Company for a paint party on Saturday. From noon to 2 p.m., kids will follow step-by-step instructions to create their own shark or mermaid. Parents are welcome to join in on the fun or can sit on the side and enjoy a free beer with any ticket purchase. Tickets are $28.
The Lehigh Valley Zoo is celebrating dads all weekend long through crafts for kids, daily Zoo-Dad-themed keeper chats and more. Stop by Saturday or Sunday.
